I would like to propose a cholera surveillance system for post disaster situation. Cholera is an acute diarrheal infection caused by Vibrio cholerae which can lead to death if left untreated.
Large-scale natural disasters cause extensive destruction of water and sanitation infrastructure and massive displacement which increase the risk of Cholera outbreaks. It is therefore important to establish a surveillance system that can be set up in a post disaster situation to detect a Cholera outbreak.
I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have.
Thank for your comprehensive presentation. I think the additional surveillance system for Cholera post disaster situation is very important. I like your data flow and your proposed data collection methods using mobile app and website. However, during the disaster, there might be electrical or internet cut-down. You may need to think about plan-B for data collection in case of this situation. Well done!
Thank you for sharing your interesting project.
Cholera outbreak can be very harmful to humanity, so I totally agree to have the Cholera post outbreak.
I really like the stakeholders flow that contain international level organization. I-EMT and N-EMT would be very useful to prevent further Cholera outbreak.
