I totally agree with everybody, it would be a nightmare if there is no ICD standard. In addition to impeding medical activities, insurance reimbursement, and interoperability, it will also cause problems in the compilation of statistics at the national level.

I basically agree with the definition of eHealth suggested by Shaw T, et al. However, as quoted in the paper, the potential benefits and improvements that they afford such as “better, faster, safer, more patient-centric, broadening horizons” could be more emphasized as a goal of the initiative.
