I collected data for a clinical research when I was a medical student by using secondary data from medical records(paper-based) and filled required information into excel sheet for analysis. For me, the important problems of collecting clinical data are incomplete information and unstructured data.

IoT can improve healthcare in many ways. Gathering data from several sources can be a lot of benefits to healthcare centers and patients (within PDPA policy). Data can help us predict, prevent and improve a lot of things.

The dashboard can help us see the big picture of the process or outcome. We can find out the cause of abnormal things that showed in the dashboard and can be a part of creating health policy or health decision support

If I can create the mobile application, It would be a health predictive web-based application that can link with HIS. The users must be the patients who can see the trend of being some popular diseases and they should aware of taking care themselves to be health person.

Inaccurate data reported to surveillance systems lead to misunderstanding in epidemiology, delay in detection and prevemtion. On the other hand if the data was overestimated reported, it will be wastage of resources .

Information Technologies are beneficial in many steps of the outbreak investigation. One of my most favourite is The Dashboard visualization that could help you see the big picture. The dashboard visualization can be used in many levels of Authorities, especially the management level and leads to a good decision making. We can also use the interactive dashboard to reduce workload and redundancy of work of authorities, and also reduce misunderstanding communication.

I agree with others who support the data visualization. The core power of data visualization is ability to be an effective communicator. We can see the insight of data on the dashboard and can digest the key information to help in policy or management decision support.

1.How can surveillance help to detect and control the disease?
Surveillance disease is an important tool helps us to detect and monitor outbreak diseases and intervention that we provided. this tool let us detect and response to the outbreak diseases rapidly
2.Should we conduct active or passive surveillance or both for the disease, why?
We should conduct both active and passive surveillance because even we need to spend huge amount of money and use more people in active surveillance, anyway active surveillance gives us more accuracy data. If we use active surveillance in the proper time along with Passive surveillance, it will be worthy and provide a lot of benefits.
3.Which method should be best to identify cases, why?
3.1 Cases in medical facilities VS community : Both medical facilities and community. Of course that we need to identify medical facilities cases and they will lead to identify community cases.
3.2 Sentinel VS population-based surveillance : Population based surveillance should be conducted in covid-19 situation. Because covid=19 is kind of pandemic outbreak that we need as much as data to monitor and management level.
3.3 Case-based VS aggregated surveillance : Case-based surveillance is proper in term of gathering specific data but for the overview and management in country level, aggregated surveillance is more suitable.
3.4 Syndromic VS laboratory-confirmed surveillance : Syndromic is the first sign that let us early detect the disease. But in case of covid-19, Lab-confirmed case is needed to make sure that we won’t confuse with other diseases.
4. What dissemination tools will you choose to disseminate COVID-19 surveillance information? Why do you choose this/these tools?Real-time dissemination is the most appropriate tool in this covid-19 situation because we need to know what’s going on and can make a proper decision or policy .

As a health informatician, I have no right to disclose patients or other information without their permission even he is my bestfriend’s husband and I won’t interfere with other family issues. We dont know if she knew her husband status or not. The only thing that I can suggest my friend is to cheer her up (include others to avoid any questions) to have a health checkup. I believe that her husband has already knew from his doctor what to do,

Awareness : Most people aware of changing into IT system but some didnt want to change even they knew why we needed to change.
Desire : There were some people didnt want to change because they though they lacked of IT skills
Knowledge & Ability : Changing to EMR need some basic computer skills
Reinforcement : Since they all need to improve hospital quality. Adopt EMR is the first step and everyone knew that. The director reassured that using the system isnt too hard and took their old staffs visited the other primarycare that used this system.

I’d like to share my experience in the organization. I participated in Health predictive project. The main problem of doing these kind of projects is Data. The Data kept in Thai healthcare system are quite hard to adopt because of quality of data. Lacking of quality came from filling pattern, lack of data and information, The data are ambiguous.
Improving quality of data health records should be considered to gain more benefits from health data. -

Of course that there were many people who might feel difficult to change and these let every processes in hospital went by slowly at first. After that, when everyone got used to it. Every processes went by so fast and we can find out the record easily. Also avoided hand-writting problem and misunderstanding in order.

Reduce complexity in managing servers since they are under the care of IT expertise. And from the reason that shortage of IT staff, SaaS would be proper in this situation

What intervention(s) you are considering in your modeling?
School closure and lockdown will be one of the interventions that decrease the transmission rate
Vaccination also be an intervention that reduce susceptibleHow it will be added to the model structure?
The intervention will interrupt the model by reducing the transmission rate. I’ll add the parameter and complete the algorithm
What are the characteristics of the intervention(s)?
These will reduce the transmission rate and make this model much more precise.
