It is user-friendly and provide an access to users to meet psychiatrists easily. I think it’s very useful during this pandemics. Please feel free to share any ideas/suggestions!!

Thanks for sharing this useful application. It is suitable in Thai society, in which people don’t have enough courage to receive psychotherapy and there is social stigmatization on receiving this treatment. It keeps personal privacy and easily accesses counseling whenever and wherever you want, instead of receiving counseling at the hospital.

Thank you for sharing your insights. Indeed, telemedicine has truly revolutionized medicine especially in this time of COVID-19 pandemic. It fundamentally attains the core principle of eHealth – that is, facilitate access to information and/or data. Consultations can be done anytime and anywhere. I believe it is cost-effective for the patient since he/she will not need to travel to the health facility to receive care.
However, one pitfalls of telemedicine is that, communication is not through verbal, but also includes non-verbal cues. Those non-verbal cues often describe the true nature of the patient, which can’t be observed on the two-dimensional nature of video-conferencing.

Thank you for sharing. This is a very good example of telemedicine use in accessing health services. Telemedicine is ideal for counseling and therapy that does not require much information about the physical examination but rely on history taking and communication technique. However, the issue that must be concerned in this kind of service is patient confidentiality. One of the recommendations that I have read about practicing telemedicine is that the physician (or the therapist) must wear headphones or stay in a secluded setting that the others cannot hear what the patient is talking through a speaker. Such minor details can affect the patient’s confidentiality.

Thank you for sharing.
Due to the pandemic situation, many people suffer from the mental health problem. For many reasons, some of people do not want to see the psychiatrist face to face. Using telepsychiatry platform make people comfortable to consult about their psychiatric issue with the doctor that they preferred. Moreover, this project can reduce the patient’s cost and time to receive the service at the hospital. The patient satisfaction may depend on the result of the counseling and their current mental health status because psychiatric therapy require many factor so this kind of platform may suitable for some kind of patients. -

Thank you for sharing. This application could greatly help the psychiatric patient and the stressed person, especially during high-stress lifestyles and pandemic situations. It allows us to get much more closer to a psychiatrist than we think.
