I agree with you all, as a health information professional, we shouldn’t release any information without consent. For this scenario, generally, the process to treat HIV infected patients also includes counseling services: how to take care of themself, how to prevent the spread of HIV to others, and how to talk with their family, for example. So, regarding our duty, we have to ignore and do not talk about this topic.
