Apparently, in this case, it is impossible to tell my friend, despite feeling conflicted. However, it is possible to contact the medical personnel who deals with my friend’s husband, or telling my friend’s husband to be careful of others.
It is best to tell my friend nothing, and give no clues, as legally, it is intention that matters, whether telling the whole truth or not.
