Background

Dr. Chawarat is Lecturer in the Department of Tropical Hygiene. He received his Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the Medical University of South Carolina, USA, with a focus on spatial epidemiology. He is involved in research in the department and teaching at the Bangkok School of Tropical Medicine.

Research

Dr. Chawarat is expert in Bayesian biostatistics modeling and spatial epidemiology. His research interests include statistical development in epidemiological applications especially in spatial epidemiology and surveillance.
