User friendliness is a very challenging part in implementing the project which might lead to project failure.
Most of the IT are struggling the database maintenance, software bugs and other feature and spend a little time to design for user friendly. Which may be due to insufficient IT staffs and funding. -

Regular awareness raising of employees about the cyber safety and security.
Notice the preventive methods of cyber attack and ransomeware attack such as phishing alert, regular update anti virus software, window update, do not visit pirate sites and/or download & install pirated software. -

Software testing is important before release to the users.
Make regular maintenance. Do everything in life cycle of software development (Planning,Ayalysis,Design,Implementation,Testing & Integration, Maintenance).
If the developers skip one of those step, there may be some bugs or error in software and configuration of database. -

High level security of mail server. Use two factor authentication for every login. Do not click “save password or remember me” in any login attempt. Make suspicious to every mail and read carefully. If the mail is luring or forcing you to fill a form/ request something, contact the IT admin before doing so.

Ensure every employee know and sign the Code of Conduct of Hospital.
Make confidentiality policy, multimedia policy. Restrict who can authorize the permission for recording picture, video, sometime recording will be needed for academic purposes.
Get consent from patients. Writing consent is the best which will save from violation of regulation. -

-Do not let unknown devices(removable devices) insert into your PC that can be a source of infection.
-Do not try do download pirated software.
-Enable auto-update for Window cumulative update and virus definition.

In current situation , they would rather choose two PC over SaaS. I mean in Myanmar. Most of the decision makers are IT naive and hard to convince and there is few people who can make them understand.

Most of us choose cloud server and SaaS. We can choose private server for data security. There is one problem in our country that we are not allowed to store data (individual/identifiable patient records) in a database/server which located outside of our country. Is there any such issue in your experience.

1. Reason to choose cloud server over physical server is cost saving.

To include all person in developing EA is a good option. But in my experience, basic health staffs lack the IT knowledge especially in computer literacy and they don’t know what feature do they want and they can’t cope and use features that provided currently.

Hi Tullaya.sita, agreed that lack of enterprise architecture makes difficulty. But I think we are getting late to develop EA, and redesign all EMR. I think we should consider alternative option like.
