I would say e-health is about making the best use of technology for the health and well-being of the public. A yearly reminder of the danger of cybersecurity attacks will be very beneficial for the employees and company. I may also add that the IT personnel should also implement a strong email security system to reduce suspicious emails from unknown and untrusted senders.

I agree with Auswin’s comment above that the reputation of the third-party vendor needs to be carefully considered. Moreover, I think it is also important to have a yearly audit and evaluation to ensure that the security implementation is in line with the agreement.

Thank you for the brief summary. I agree that the employees need to be educated on data security and also cybersecurity attacks like phishing. In addition, SalusCare also needs to implement a security system for email. If someone sends an email with link, there should be a warning to remind the recipient before they clicking link or download attachment.

I agree, security measures for paper-based data are also needed to be applied just like the computer-based data. The regulation of data destruction is also an important aspect of preserving patients’ data privacy, including choosing the trusted professional companies that can destroy the data securely.
