Hi all! Next Saturday is my turn to be a presenter.
The paper I selected is quite related to my potential thesis topic.
Please help me fulfil the ideas as the following points;
1. Do you agree? or disagree? on “healthcare industries have to realize the importance of architecture before considering an IT solution to serve their needs” (stated by the authors) and why?
2. “…the architecture to be relied on by the healthcare industry should have the capability to meet current demands while also maintaining the capability to meet anticipated future demands…” What could be the future demands of the healthcare industry? -
1 # In my opinion, I do agree that we should think about architecture at the 1st stage when we want to create something, but I strongly think that it should come together or with other requirements as well where this should be added when do the conceptual.
2# I think the good architecture should be opened and be able to change or connect with other systems or devices to answer the demand in the future.

1. EA is essential for comprehensive healthcare IT solutions in long-term. However, it’s quite difficult in my opinion to persuade stakeholders not to look for short-term solutions only.
2. Since healthcare industry is always evolving, the EA design should be adaptable to changes in the future. Continuous research is needed to know future demands.

1. I agree that EA is important for healthcare industry at the very beginning.
2. With the knowledge of how EA works well for health industry, there might be more demand on EA. However, it will take time as all stakeholders must involve for the system to be successful.
