It is evident that opting for the cloud server would be of significant advantage rather than utilizing the physical server. I will also choose the cloud server in that situation of limited IT staff and constrained resources currently at the hospital, which would be also setting up the necessary server for the hospital that can be ready for the other IT demands. The cost-effectiveness and superior scalability offered by the cloud server make a compelling case for recommending it to the hospital’s executive board.
From my perspective, the PaaS would be most appropriate and I will also work with it if I am given the task. In that case, we are aiming to develop a web-based application for patient appointments, where this service model includes not only the underlying infrastructure but also the software development tools, runtime environments, and middleware needed to build, deploy, and manage applications.
