In my opinion, having dashboard of data visualisation in healthcare organisation is really useful because it allows you to understand the complex data in the easy way using less time comparing with reading the full and unorganised report. Also. in healthcare, the dashboard can help executives in decision making as it is up-to-date information. For example, the dashboard that displays the trend of a KPIs in realtime will help executives and health professionals promptly modify the strategies to enhance the performance of organization. If I design a dashboard, I will put only one-page screen that contains all key information. It should provide the users with a clear story of all information with the most significants insights are placed on the top of dashboard. Also, there should be table, graphs or charts that help simplify the complex data instead of too many letters and numbers. The colour of the dashboard should be simple but have the important information highlighted which help draw the readers’ attention. Most importantly, a good dashboard should be relevant with the contents and created based on the purposes; operational, tactical or strategic dashboard.
