Primary care is most necessary in this difficult situation. It requires large number of workforce to cover the whole place. It is difficult to move up the healthcare at all levels right now in Myanmar.

Like Wannisa said we always have the problem with health workforce shortage issue. On the other hand, we have much better technology and innovations that I think can release manpower from long hour and boring jobs. I think people need to change their way of working, learn to make good use of technology and keep positive attitudes.

It is a very critical situation like you described. Power suppliers cutting to try to tackle the online scam operations did not help at all. I am sorry to hear that. It is certainly a bigger issue than just the workforce shortage here. I hope we get through it soon.

Thanks Cing for sharing insights from your work in the transformation. It is interesting that people prefer writing down and take longer for digital data entry. I guess it takes time to change and to accept those changes completely. Consistent training will also be important for the staff I am sure.

Thanks for sharing the experiences, Wannisa. I am sure the EMR data system at Rajvithi is required for such a huge hospital. I sometimes wonder how much they use those data for research at Rajvithi, don’t have experience on research collaboration there.

Good discussions. If we were to study on site, I would love to take you on the tour to our data center, BIOPHICS where Siriluk works! Talking to people who have lot of experiences working with different projects would be very helpful learning.

Corruption is also up to the attention. Sometime it isn’t black and white to everyone else but the ones who do probably know the best. Not knowing much about legal and laws, you can also be at risk I think!

Good discussions on different tips for project management for different kinds of jobs here. There are some similarities there where if there is a teamwork, it is impossible to plan and do things without communicating with your team members. It would be a disaster and unpleasant project, I think!

I always find the software design projects last longer than expected. The user requirements keep extended and never quite end! Certainly you will need a good plan and the strict Gantt chart might be hopeful like you suggest.
