I do agree with Penpitcha, human error is the key successful of hacker. One more thing that I think it should be another measure to prevent the attack is security safeguard of the system should be checked for the vulnerability points more frequently, as in this story systems found that they were hacked around 2 months after events.

-All users in the organization should be aware of phishing email. If there are some email that they are not familiar with, they should not click on the link.
-Personal data record should not be sent via email. They may use another form of data transfer such as cd-rom if applicable. -

1. Why would you choose cloud server, rather than physical server?
I’d rather choose cloud server rather than physical server. According to the limited IT resource in this hospital, I think putting more jobs and complexity of servers will not appropriate. Furthermore, the cloud server has an advantage on reduced IT costs, minimized time to…[Read more] -

Ameen, I agree that the country with strong primary health care have less problem with patients go shopping around. Theoretically, the health record of patients who needs specialist will send back to the primary doctor, but it might not have enough information or it might be delayed for primary physician to follow up. I think the second important…[Read more]

Hi Pyae, I’m agree that we are go so far for make the EA for EMR at this point. As an end-user in clinical part I think the data standard sounds like a good option to share data between each unit, but for building the national EHR to have interoparability in other aspects I’m not sure that we can do without building EA first? Can we modified som…[Read more]
