TanRabad is a very useful App for dengue control. I’m glad to hear that the App is widely implemented throughout the country. I totally agree that convincing people to use the App properly is the most challenging issue for the success of the project.

Thanks for the brief description and propose the solutions for the particular event. Recently, one hospital in Thailand just was hit by the ransomeware. It caused shut down of almost all activities in the hospital. Regularly and appropriately backing up data is another important part to recover from the ransomeware attack.

Deidentification of data is a good method to protect privacy data. However, this could limit the data use by physicians and radiologist. It’s quite a challenge to balance between data security and data utilization.

Although the HIPPA is strictly followed in the US, we still have heard this kind of report from time to time. Think about our countries, sometimes people don’t take this issue seriously. Particularly, when big crime or accident events happened on the news.

Sila, as you are a programmer and IT in a hospital in Thailand. I know that you have a good programming skill. Do you think that IT officer in other hospitals (in general) would be able to handle or config PaaS cloud service model?

Thanks everyone. Health information system requires a well planned architecture since the beginning. It might takes time and cost, but I think it’s worth to carefully plan.
