Thank you for the report indicating the need for double-check for data uploads. Human error is a difficult one to control, and employee contracts for data confidentiality should be signed annually.

I find this report very interesting because this is different from all other cases where they mainly concern data. And thank you for providing good preventing measures regarding patients’ privacy. In addition, I think hanging privacy policy posters (e.g., no photo sign) in the hospital might be a simple and effective way to inform public.

Khaing Zin Zin Htwe replied to the topic Topic 2 Why do we need EA? in the forum Week 1 : Principle of Biomedical and Health Informatics I 4 years, 7 months ago
It might take time and cost, and this could be the reason why most stakeholders are reluctant to plan. It is sad to see only short-term solutions are applied in my country.

Khaing Zin Zin Htwe replied to the topic Topic 2 Why do we need EA? in the forum Week 1 : Principle of Biomedical and Health Informatics I 4 years, 7 months ago
The lack of EA in health informatics at provincial level can bring problems to all levels of the system involved. Duplicates in examinations and investigations can lead to unnecessary increase in healthcare cost and human resources, and data inconsistency finally causing difficulties in analysis and decision making stages of the reported data.
