I would move the information to cloud computing, it is easy to manage and manipulate data, provide easy-access step when user need data.

I will not click any of that since all of them are scammers. I will close the window or do any other way to avoid them.

The last time I experienced virus was about ten years ago when I used a computer in the public computer service to transfer the file between my flash drive USB and the computer. Later when I use this USB to connect with my personal laptop, some of the files on my laptop are disappeared. The laptop tends to work differently. After that, to prevent the virus, I installed a licensed anti virus program on my laptop.

A good dashboard can help get into the information faster, users gain the key information quicker. A good dashboard should easy to read, easy to understand, summarize all the important information. It should prioritize the key message and also provide other information that necessary too. It should be easy on the eyes too, also it should use the colors to helps guide people where to look at, where to read next.

I would love to develop an mobile application that provide healthcare information about common pathogens found in Thailand. When users turn on their location service, they can see which pathogens are commonly found or currently spread in their nearby location. The app will provide specific area of spreading along with essential information about each pathogen that found in the area such as severity, symptom when infected, and how to stay safe from infection.

I would choose to build as a hybrid application so it can integrate with Web-based services which provide more information about pathogens online.

I would say Python and Java. Python has the logics that understandable which can benefit new beginners to write and further develop. Java is one of the most used for application too, it is versatile so it can be used for developing a wide range of applications.

In Thailand, internet do improve our healthcare and medicine quality. We have government healthcare applications that link all personal information related to COVID-19 healthcare. Which is great and convenient. After vaccinations the information appeared in the app within a few hours and we can access our vaccine certificate via the app. We can access our healthcare information from anywhere with the internet. The challenge would be how to do the same with other health information other than covid. It would be nice to have all the healthcare information within the app. But it would take some time to collect, organize, and manage the information which could take years.

I think there are many parameters to concern especially the distance between the collection site and MOPH, also data privacy as well.
I would propose that if the distance is near then choosing the network that covers a smaller area would be safer for privacy data transferring than using the wider one (WAN) since we concerned that blood pressure(BP) is a sensitive information.

When collecting data the wearable device will transfer BP data to device near by (cell phone or laptop) using PAN.
      – If the collection site is nearby the MOPH computer system we can use PAN. PAN it is easy for small area, safer for privacy since it only shared data with a small area but the cons is that all of the devices have to be very close to the MOPH system.
      – If the collection site is within the MOPH building we can use LAN. It is easy and can transfer data in high speed. the disadvantage for this case is that clinical research don’t usually collect the data within a small area such as within an organization building.
      – If the collection site is in the same city as MOPH, MAN would be the best choice. However, it may cost a lot for network maintenance such as the network connections.
      – WAN (the internet) covers all areas which is easily to transfer from all study area to MOPH. However, this network may not fit in this case when concerning BP is a sensitive information that needs high privacy controls.

If it is not necessary I would say choose the smaller network first to control the privacy. Only choose WAN if the distance is really far that the others network cannot cover.

From my experiences as a patient and a user, the government’s system in general still has problems in information organizing and transferring. I have been facing many situations where they cannot transfer my documents from one to another departments even though they are under the same organization. But I think it become a huge problem when the pandemic spread, there are so many patient and so many information that have to accessed and linked but the system failed to do that. Consequently, COVID patient cannot received the help as much as they needed it. When my family members got infected and need some medicine, we had to call so many numbers in one organization to tell them the same information all over again, which I think it would be less complicated to do if they use Information System to solve the problems.

Agee. It can reduce so much complexity in managing data

ads blocks extension is a good idea, I use them too.

sharing file via the email is a good way to avoid virus

Totally agree, infographic is one of the best choice as it summarize all the information in a form that easy to understand and provide a whole picture of all the information.

      This is a good idea!

I think Python works well for mobile application. However, I concern that R might not work for mobile apps developing since it is a language that has their environment more suitable for statistical computing and graphics, such as charts and graphs.

Internet access really is a challenge in Thailand. In addition, there are many area that can access the internet but users do not how to use it to access the healthcare information. I think another challenge is that we need more of public relations, instruction and an easy to use online healthcare platform.

I agree, if the wearable device is locate near the MOPH computer system then PAN would be the best choice.
Also agree with you that the larger network may costs a lot more, also we have to concern more about data security more when the network is large, such as limiting who can access the data since BP is a sensitive personal data.

I also have the same problem. My healthcare insurance took almost a year to transfer the information from one to another hospital even though both of these hospitals work as parts of the same university. With the help of Information System, I think the problems can be solved easily.
