If one day while you are playing the internet through the web browser, there is a warning message suddenly prompting that “Your computer is now infected with 20 viruses.” Click “Clean” button to kill those viruses. What will you do? Why?

First, I would not click the “Clean” button and I would close the message window immediately because this kind of pop-up is usually a scam.
I would no visit the website that triggers the warning message pop-up again.
Then I would re-evaluate my computer security by
– recheck that the firewall of the system is enabled
– update my antivirus to the latest version, and scan for viruses and malwares regularly
– updating my web browser to the latest version
– updating my OS to the latest version with the latest security patch
– consider changing my online service account password regularly-

This is often a type of online fraud, and will lead you to install apps or move to malicious web sites. You should delete the entire web page instead of clicking the button.

Yes, absolutely.
Just close and delete it.Thank you,

While surfing the internet through the web browser the popped of messages or the warning messages might be spyware. In my opinion, it’s better not to click and go for the measures to avoid the risk of spyware or viruses.
We need to check for https in the address to find the secured website while browsing. Anti-spyware software, Firewall needs to be installed for the better security of computers and the data. It’s always a good idea to avoid public hot spots.-

I agree with you about avoiding public hotspots. I always use my own mobile hot spots (Mobile internet sharing) for security reasons.

I won’t click such pop-up messages. What I will do is close the browser tab and delete history pages/cookies in the past hour. Afterwards, I will check if the firewall and anti-virus are active and working properly to make sure I am safe.

I’m quite sure that is the virus or malware that can attack our devices. So, I’m pretty sure that I will not click it and close all the tabs that shown that sentence.
Thank you

I definitely do not click that button because I think that pop-up message can contain some malware that can harm my computer. I also have to close all the related tab and check my antivirus program that is it work properly.

I will not click on this button because it is malicious malware that can corrupt the computer. It is better to avoid some pop-ups like this, check the website security, or report this malware to the website owner. The way to avoid this malware is to regularly update the OS, web browser, anti-malware software and avoid the click on pop-ups or unknown links.

Definitely, I will not click that button and probably leave that web page. And if I did not sure about my computer was free from viruses or not, I will use anti-virus software to scan for viruses or any malware.

I won’t click on this kind of message for sure.
This kind of message is usually a scam, fraud or phishing.First thing should be done is to close that page immediately, then do not access the page again.
After the page is closed properly, I will check my firewall and start virus scanning with my antivirus program.
By the way, I think the best practice is not accessing to untrusted website and check your computer security regularly. -

If I was in the same boat, I would not click the ‘clean’ button which seemed suspicious. Then, I’d rather check my web browser security and update it.

If I were at these situation, firstly, click exit button of the web browser to break chain of malicious malware. Secondly, check and update anti-virus software because the pop-up will be sign of anti-malware insufficiency.
