If you want to create an application whether a web app or mobile app, what programming language would you like to use to build and develop your app, why?

After conducting online research, I believe that JavaScript is the programming language I would like to use for building and developing a web or mobile app. It is popular among app and web developers, and many companies like Google and PayPal use this language in their work. Additionally, it is not a complicated language to understand, and it is interpreted language which means it speeds up the time to execution.

JavaScript is one of the most popular programming language because it supports many platforms and Operating System, you can build an application running on Windows, Linux, and cross platform for mobile app too.

In my opinion, I would choose PHP as my programming language of choice for crafting applications. PHP, being an open-source programming language, offers a multitude of advantages. PHP can shine when it comes to content-heavy applications. It’s optimized for quick loading times, even under slower internet connections, and comes equipped with built-in security features that provide an added layer of protection for applications. These features, combined with PHP’s extensive community support, make it a compelling choice for a wide range of development projects

PHP is a good choice for app development. I think it is good for those who are stater programmers because it has less learning curve. It is simple in code and programming syntax.
Thanks,

I’d consider using Python as a programming language. Python is versatile to use for both web and mobile app development. It has a relatively more simple and readable syntax. As far as I know, there is a huge library with standardized functions in Python, so I won’t need to build everything from scratch. And even if I’m stuck somewhere in between, I can get help from large community of developers using Python.

I should python too. Because Google told me it is easy to understand and use for the beginner.

Based on what I’ve gathered from various sources online, Java seems to be a suitable choice for app development, both for web and mobile platforms. For web apps, it’s said that Java is the main language for creating dynamic and interactive interfaces. It’s used to build modern web applications and plays a key role in enhancing user experience. Additionally, Java can be utilized for crafting apps on both iOS and Android platforms, whereas Python is less common for mobile apps. Java also enables the creation of apps across multiple platforms with the same codebase, and there are plenty of learning resources available from the community. However, the decision between languages will depend on factors like versatility, compatibility with different browsers, creating interactive web interfaces, and addressing security concerns based on the specific needs of our app development.

To my knowledge, JavaScript, Python, and Java are in-demand programming languages among developers when it comes to web development. After searching for the upcoming trends in a programming language, Google’s Go language (AKA ‘Golang’) deserves a special mention. Many experts agree that Golang is a compelling choice when you need to develop a simple and faster application. Moreover, notable companies (Google, Apple, and Facebook) have adopted Golang as the programming language of choice.

Even though I know Javascript is the answer for web apps as mentioned by Nichcha, I think I would use Python as a matter of personal bias. This is because I am already proficient at programming in Python, so I am inclined to use what I already know instead of learning a whole new programming language from scratch (which takes a lot of time!). From what I know, there are packages in Python that supports building web apps (e.g. Django and Flask) and mobile apps (e.g. Kivy) as well, just because Python is such a popular language.

For developing a mobile app, I prefer using Dart with Flutter. Flutter offers a highly productive and fast development cycle, allowing for hot reloads and a rich set of pre-designed widgets. Dart brings strong typing and an object-oriented approach, making the codebase robust and maintainable. Together, they offer a seamless experience for creating high-performance, cross-platform apps with a native feel, reducing both development time and cost.

From what I gather information about programming languages and have found that, for the creation of web and mobile apps, I prefer using PYTHON because it’s widely used. It is easy to use due to its simple syntax and can be integrated for applications in Data science. Python is used in a wide variety of applications, the popular Social media sites such as Instagram and Pinterest are also built on Python.

As I search from various sources about computer programming languages, they said Python is the easiest programming language and also suitable for beginners to learn. However, for developing application, I think Javascript is popular and is good for both creating web app and mobile app, while some sources revealed that python has limitations on building mobile app and it may widely use for another purpose such as data-testing.

As I am a beginner in a programming area, I would rather choose Python language over others. It is easy to use either write or read. It is very flexible and doesn’t require several hours or much effort to develop the app that we want to create. There are many resources online to take references for Python while developing the app.

As this was mentioned in the paper there are hundreds of programming languages that can write computer programs, I would choose Python as the starter due to its simple syntax and versatility. I think it is easier to learn the basics and understand the language within a short time and can be used in a wide variety of tasks and industries including healthcare. Moreover, as in current professional, I am going to use it not only for the programming language but also for the health data analysis and visualizations.
