ParticipantIn your opinion, do you think Electronic Medical Records using Blockchain technology successfully implement in Thailand (or your country)? and What are the most obstructive aspects?
Would it be another application in healthcare that not yet describe in the paper?

ParticipantThank for your presentation and I‘ve learnt about the concept of blockchain.
I didn’t know much about blockchain, but I think that Thailand still needs a lot to improvement in applying the EMR especially in the small Heathcare/ hospital. But I’ve seen in many private hospitals used the EMR and I am sure what system they use.
In my opinion, I think that NUMBER of applying the blockchain in EMR in Thailand is still small and limit which might have some mechanism or acceptance criteria such as cost, knowledge and facility.

ParticipantI agree. Even though Blockchain technology could provide many benefits but there are still many areas of healthcare that need to improve before it can use. I think a company Guardtime in Estonia can set an appropriate example for us.

ParticipantIt’s a great presentation.
in my opinion, I think that although blockchain-based electronic medical records are an interesting technology.
ฺBut it still took a long time to implement this system. because various investments The budget is quite high and so on.-

ParticipantYou are very true. The toughest part is how to make it practical in the real scenario instead of just proposed topics in papers.

ParticipantI gained useful knowledge from your presentation.
Since the knowledge of blockchain technology is new to me, I haven’t heard of any use of it in my country’s healthcare system. I think budget availability would be a challenge.
For its use in health, maybe it could also be integrated in public health fields like epidemiological surveillance.

ParticipantIt is a very interesting topic.
I had learnt much about the blockchain technology from presentation and thanks for this opportunity.
As it is new tech to us, I think change management from policy makers as well as frequent trainings to users will be required for blockchain based electronic recording and reporting to be successfully implemented. -

ParticipantIt was a very informative presentation about blockchain technology for health. Which brings so many points that we need to think ahead before adopting in Thailand such as training, acceptability, private and security. It will be a big change that will scare stakeholders but its potentials that you present are the opportunity to overcome many health system challenges!

ParticipantThank you for presenting this topic which is very new to me and I have never heard of it.So I’m not sure if my perception is correct.
Blockchain technology to be used in our public health is quite difficult and probably not soon due to many factors to consider, such as the budget for technology procurement, training for stakeholders, but if there is a chance to switch to this technology, I think it would be much better for our health care system to be able to develop new technologies to be used.

ParticipantI think the same as in terms of budget. Currently, Blockchain technology seems far-fetched because it required a lot of implementation and financial support to make it happened. I think starting on a small scale might be easier instead of roll out at the national level.

ParticipantThank you for your presentation.
1. In my opinion, In current situation the EMR in Thailand may not be use Blockchain technology because this technology must have more space to collect data and strong CPU for processing and EMR was collect many data then the cost of this technology may be higher than the hospital can pay for them.
2. Subtype of healthcare IT system that this paper not mention are
-Surveillance system
-PACS
-LIS -
