This is the way I understand the paragraph but what you are saying also make sense. However this is my take:
One way of measure is by using a number called P value. P value tells you how likely it is that the difference you see is due to chance. For example, if P value is 0.01, it means there is only a 1% chance that the difference is due to…[Read more]

I chose point number 3 (A significant test result (P £ 0.05) means that the test hypothesis is false or should be rejected.) on Page 341.
When we want to test a hypothesis using statistics, we pick a level of how sure we need to be before saying our hypothesis is true. This level is usually set at 0.05, which means that we are okay with being…[Read more]

Thanks for sharing, this is the first time I heard about the Gold Card, so I’m learning again. I’m also wondering how NHSO is taking care of the rising expenses, especially after COVID-19. I read in Bangkok post that during COVID-19 period, there is a gaming of the systems where people tried to get COVID-19 intentionally to get the pay out, is…[Read more]

Thanks for sharing your perspectives, but in my country, Myanmar, it’s an opposite situation now, healthcare is too hard to get. So, what we are advocating is for the government to start something similar to 30 bath scheme but I do note that we need to be mindful about the supply side of the equation. Again, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing about the CPG, I tried to Google the document you are referring but since many are written in Thai, is there an English version?
Is this CPG what you are referring?

Thanks for sharing Google Trends. You inspired me to look at the Google trend for Myanmar but I got the reply from Google that “your search doesn’t have enough data to show here.” It seems people in Myanmar doesn’t even search health informatics that much. We have a long way to go but thanks for the inspiration.

It is a very well organized event but unfortunately my abstract was rejected because this year’s theme is mostly focused on climate change and many climate related projects in Myanmar was on paused after the military coup since 2021 and we didn’t have anything related to present this year.

We have similar situation in Myanmar but the critical difference is that some health leaders in Myanmar are very old fashioned. After the COVID-19 pandemic a lot of meetings moved online (depending on the nature of the meeting of course) but there are some health leaders who still insist in-person meetings because they are still not comfortable…[Read more]

Hi All,
I’ve been joining PMAC and I would like to share an opportunity to join and learn about Planetary Health. The presenter convince me that we have to go beyond health to tackle the upcoming climate change challenge.
We can get a certificate after joining all the Zoom classes.

Thanks for your replies. I’m now exploring possibilities to use tools like Unreal engine 5.1 where I can input the data and explore the data in 3D. I learned that it is possible to do it at JITMM 2023. I’m saving up for a 3D goggle and maybe manipulate the data in VR 🙂

According to TAM, people’s intention to use a new technology is influenced by their perception of its usefulness. This means that if a new technology is seen as more useful than the old technology, people will be more likely to adopt it. For example, let’s say you’re replacing an old, clunky computer program with a new, more user-friendly one.…[Read more]

There are several external variables that can influence an individual’s PEOU and PU. These include:
