During the COVID-19 pandemic, Thailand had two useful apps. First, the Mor-Cha-Na app aimed to help track and prevent virus transmission by telling users if they were close to infected people or high-risk areas. However, it often gave a low-risk status, which made it less helpful for quarantine.
The second app was Mor Prom. It let people access vaccination services, like making reservations, tracking vaccinations, and staying updated on COVID-19. It even had a feature to check for vaccine side effects. People could get vaccinated at any hospital where they were registered.
To make things simpler and more user-friendly, it would be a good idea to combine these two apps into one. This all-in-one app could handle tracking, monitoring, and vaccination services. That way, people wouldn’t get confused about which app to use. Also, these apps didn’t share data, which means health data couldn’t be used to its full potential.

To enhance my profession as a community pharmacist in the context of public health and health informatics, I recognize the importance of interoperability among various health information systems. This entails understanding how different healthcare technologies and software can seamlessly communicate and share patient data. To achieve this, I need to acquire a deeper knowledge of data standards and protocols in the healthcare industry.
Furthermore, it is essential to raise awareness about the value of interoperability within the healthcare community. Educating colleagues on the benefits of efficient data sharing between different providers and systems can lead to better-informed decision-making and ultimately improve patient care and outcomes.

From what I gather information about programming languages and have found that, for the creation of web and mobile apps, I prefer using PYTHON because it’s widely used. It is easy to use due to its simple syntax and can be integrated for applications in Data science. Python is used in a wide variety of applications, the popular Social media sites such as Instagram and Pinterest are also built on Python.

Internet technology significantly enhances quality of healthcare by facilitating access to medical information, promoting electronic health records. Helping patient access to treatment easier. For example, telemedicine allows patients to consult with doctors about their minor illnesses remotely, reducing the need for hospital visits.
However, challenges include maintaining patient privacy and security. Not everyone has the same access to the internet, and we must ensure that the internet connection works well. We also need to be careful about incorectly information online and follow rules and ethics. Training needs for healthcare professionals and patients also important to maximizing the benefits of internet integration in healthcare. -

I agree with all classmate. To collect health record data from people in various areas and transmitting it to the MOPH computer system, a combination of networks might be used.As Soe Htike and Panyada mentioned, using wearable devices could transmit data to local collection points through PANs. Then local collection points could be connected via LANs or MANs to gather the data and then transmit it to the central MOPH computer system using a WAN. But to use multiple of networks might has some limitation such as data transfer speeds and data security needs.

From my experience as a pharmacist in a community hospital, one system that could greatly benefit from an Information System implementation is the prescription management process. Specifically, implementing an electronic prescription system could solve the problem such as handwritten prescriptions that are difficult to read. The system can eliminate the need to interpret handwritten prescriptions, reducing the errors due to misinterpretation. This can significantly improve patient safety by ensuring accurate dispensing of medications.
