We should think of a hospital as a provider in the health care complex system. There are other components such as patient, regulator, payer/insurer, or supplier. They all require health information for their operational, decision making or strategic planning. In provider components, apart from hospitals, other patients may seek out services, for…[Read more]

Pyae Phyo Aung; Is your program a national or funded by international org. ? Hoping I can learn more from you on your program and how you manage it. The same as you, law or regulatory things is a must for information. I think how the US response to informatics by ARRA is what we should study.

K. Anothai, I could not agree more, we cannot be good at everything but we can have a good insight on almost everything. Every workplace has already an IT geek but they missed one person who can bring all to the same purpose easily. One who has this skill is a golden man. I think all the subjects in this program is the answer for us.

K.Tullaya, I have to accepts that my math skill is at the dumpy level whilst most of the reliable project is proved and verified by math/stat. more or less, so If I have one pray I’d ask for being more skilled in computational & mathematical sciences too.
As my day-to-day jobs are handling people all day long, communication skills are what I…[Read more]

I would do that and I’d choose PaaS. I think the hospital should be for secondary care. As a secondary care facility, it requires specialized knowledge, skill, and equipment. Then, as a director, I’d distribute budget more on the mentioned requirement than on the number of staff or non-medical profession and infrastructure. So we can pay attention…[Read more]

Simply put, IoT and big data enables things in our physical world to transfer data to each other freely and it changes the way we handle data. Because of volume, velocity, and variety of data, we can access more samples and more in detail in one time to assess existing medical practice and treatment and improving it be more efficient or developing…[Read more]

I think a warning message like that often shows up on unusual site. For me, apart from using pop-up blocker available on browser like chrome, I’d just ignore such pop-up, then close the browser. But there is some time, the site/pop up/browser/ Adware program cannot be closed or redirected to another site repetitively, I’d go to the task manager…[Read more]

Like others, I used to get my PC infected by random virus after downloading contagious file on the internet. Honestly, then, I did not feel any impact from the virus except after years of usage it’s running slower. Maybe my pc was zombie full of virus and was sources of spreading to others.

Based on my work, I’d make a new web app. to help us improve customer experience and to help our assistance services more manageable and less simple case workload.
In brief, it will be like a well-known virtual assistant Alexa/Google Assistance, a version for medical and travel assistance but not involves medical advice/treatment. It will be…[Read more]

I have read an article about the UK’s NHS is trying to use telemedicine for their services. The patient can register for the services on their mobile then go to their network drugs store like Boots to use telemedicine set up and they can take prescription upon consult for the simple condition. Even most of the hospital in the UK are public under…[Read more]

If the device is the latest technology in the market, I’d transfer the data collected in the wearable device to my PC via my PAN network before modifying it into a protected and proper format. I’d say that, like other working environments in Thailand, our company has been dealing with a big problem on ineffective decision making and needs to adopt IS for better processing. Our routine operational system, for example, is deciding to cover the medical claim, activating helivac services. But when it comes to cost and budget, there are many…[Read more]
