My example dashboard is from Johns Hopkins University of Medicine: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html
This dashboard is very informative. This dashboard was mainly designed into 3 panel
1) The left panel is a slicer to select the country or location of your interest.
2) The middle panel is the display board which could display many parameters…[Read more] -

I’m wondering if the creator could add the slicer that allows the user to filter out Bangkok data in order to enhance the visualization of other provinces in Thailand.

Your CRF details are really impressive!
I really like the way you design the layout including adding the investigator signature part.I would say It would be better if you add/adjust some little details in your eCRF
1) Start date: I’m not quite sure that start refers to enrollment or vaccine administration. What do you think if we use “Screening…[Read more] -

Thank you for your comments and suggestion
It could help me improve a lot. !
In fact, I’m not quite sure whether my design is suitable or not.
Please see my idea belowIn the exclusion criteria (If the patient cannot remember the vaccine history)
In my opinion, if the patient cannot remember their history, It might automatically fall into…[Read more] -

The overall eCRF is clean and concise. The layout and format are straightforward to follow. The data entry note, for example (DD/MMM/YYYY), it could help the data entry personnel to get enter the data correctly.
For improvement gap,
1. We could add the study vaccine kit number. In my opinion, this could be beneficial in statistical analysis that…[Read more] -

My suggestion would be in terms of collecting of “Date” data (date of visit, date of birth, data of informed consent signed). I think it should be in pre-printed box format like in the pulse rate or body temperature box. The data format should be in DD/MMM/YYYY in order to prevent confusion in data entry.

One important benefit of having data standards is to facilitate the data-sharing process. If the data from various clinical trials comply with the same standard. It would be easier to share, compare and do some research among the collected data. For example, pooling data to analyze for patterns or study drug efficacy, and safety among the…[Read more]

I’m working as a CRA. My main responsibility regarding clinical trials is data quality assurance (monitoring of clinical trial conducting). I have no direct experience in designing eCRF or databases involving activity.
Actually, I’m still quite new in this field, I sometimes missed the critical points during the on-site study visits. So, If I…[Read more] -

Bayesian VS Frequentist:
Both of these concepts are inferential statistics.Bayesian
– Rely on the prior knowledge or known data to infer what they would like to know, therefore if the prior data is biased it would affect the answer.
– The basic assumption: parameter is a random variable.
– Common jargon: Credible interval, Prior, Posterior,…[Read more] - Load More
