I agree with you that the ICD-10 did not contain specific details about disease.
Hospital may provided other equivalent information to the payee for reimbursement but I’m not quite sure that it would delay the payment process or not. -

My opinion towards the ICD use is quite the same with other classmates.
I agree that if the hospitals do not use the ICD10 as a standard for disease diagnosis.
This would cause a major problem involving many healthcare stakeholders including
1) Insurance and reimbursement party: Since Thailand mostly rely on ICD-10 for reimbursement, the…[Read more] -

Even though I graduated with a doctor of pharmacy but I have not worked as a pharmacist.
However, I do agree with the survey.
My friend who works as a pharmacist and physician also complained about the workload of the EMR system, particularly the manual input due to the lack of system efficiency.
Even if the system is based on an electronic…[Read more] -

My example would be data from wearable sensor for example smart watch, real time glycemic level monitoring.
This data fit to “5V” definition of big data because:
1) Volume: The wearable sensor could generate thousands of records of each patient and imagine that the data were pooled. This would create the gigantic dataset
2) Velocity: The rec…[Read more] -
