I agree with your distinctive opinion. Of course, the dissemination of the early warning information to the targeted audience, both the health personnel as well as the public, is sometimes not done in a timely manner as well as in an efficient way. This leads to information inadequacy, and sometimes information overload.

For me, the main challenge for integrating an early warning system into the surveillance system would be information inadequacy. As we all can see in the case of Covid-19, we knew very little about the nature of the disease because of the limitation in the information of the disease. This information inadequacy may be contributed by the limitation…[Read more]

I agree with you especially with the policy aspect of health informatics. The exchange of the health data would only be enforced by the adoption of rules and regulations that will also promote data security and privacy in sharing the health data between different organizations.

In the PM Lee Hsien Loong’s video message, the expression of empathy and understanding is clearly seen. And he tried to build trust among the public. He mentioned the uncertain nature of the disease as well. And he provided the strategies for the response of the Covid-19 disease. He stated that capacity and capabilities to address the multifaced i…[Read more]

Air pollution could be definitely a potential future public health emergency in some countries if untreated properly. Day to day emission of toxic gases from vehicles and rapid development of urbanization and industrialization along with deforestation on a large scale has left us an atmosphere of what we deserved. This human-induced air pollution…[Read more]

The public health burden and its impact on the economics of Covid-19 have made the Covid-19 surveillance system a hot issue.
