JavaScript would be my choice of language to develop web and mobile app since it is the language currently used in my project for presumptive TB referral. It is relatively easy to learn and implement for the developer. In addition, JavaScript combined with HTML and CSS, it will bring a lively web app.

In my current work, I generally work with TPS. Presumptive TB patients’ data: input (personal demographics, referral type, investigations done, results, etc.) are recorded in on-line batch system. The process is done by data-entry assistants by entering hard copy data into the on-line presumptive TB register which is output.

Sadly, Myanmar’s healthcare system uses a lot less Internet technology than neighboring countries (in case of governmental system since I have no idea about private hospitals).
