This might be a late question that I should ask as the beginning, I am confused as to how/where you get raster (aerial or satellite) images from? Do you have to purchase them or can they be downloaded/made?
I tried to find the answer and I found out that you can import raster images from Google Earth (Google Earth Pro app for desktop is needed), add reference layer, and use function “Raster” -> “Georeferencer…” .
It’s a bit tricky but doable.
