Hook worm infection has affected people worldwide. In Thailand, There were 2.2-36.6 percent of infections from 2000-2018. Tourists might not be aware of the infection and many touring activities involve environment exposure such as meditation, elephant camp visiting, bare feet at beaches and trekking. Moreover, uncontrolled pets could be the source of transmission as well. These surveillance systems will assist the local public practitioner and tourism entrepreneur to track the number of infected cases in tourist areas, reduce the environment contamination and support hygienic tourism.
