In order to adopt a new technology in place of the old one, you have to make sure that the new technology you are adopting will definitely help users accomplish their tasks more easier. That’s where TAM comes in to help us with. It is basically a quantitative way to measure users’ acceptance using multiple questions in a scale of 1-5 or 7 depends on its version, apparently. After piloting the new technology, it is essential to obtain users’ voices or opinion periodically, and eventually evaluate the new technology prior to discarding the old one. The original TAM measures two core factors including Perceived usefulness and Perceived ease of use, which I have mentioned earlier in the previous discussion 🙂
