Hteik Htar TinParticipantFor this assignment, I chose the current small eHealth project in my organization. The project aims to support early warning, alert and response to epidemic prone diseases and vaccine preventable diseases in our coverage area. The system uses KOBO application for field data entry and the regional HIS team do data analysis and use Power BI dashboard for project management. Only organizational staff can use the eHealth and the community cannot. This project cover all 3 domains of eHealth.
(1) Health in our hand: both field clinical staff and regional HIS team have access to data in real time. Due to reduced workload of manual data entry, field staffs are motivated to give reports and can focus on patient care.
(2) Interacting for health: In case of event or alert, the regional technical team can do remote consultation and field team immediately do the response. This action prevents the incidence and morbidity in the community. The managment team can make quick decision for supply chain support.
(3) Data enabling health: when compared to paper based system, the human error in data collection/entry has enormously reduced and timely analysis make effective for immediate response.
Currently, the reporting and response outcomes are improved. The cost for printing and transportation of documents between field teams and regional team is decreased. Due to eHealth reporting system, the risk of security is also less. -

Kevin ZamParticipantHi Ma Hteik,
According to my understanding, weekly health information data is collected by Kobo Collect and visualized in Power BI for the senior management to analyze and respond in your eHealth project. Quite an interesting project to implement in resource limited setting such as Myanmar! -

Wah Wah LwinParticipantHi Hteik Htar!
Thanks for your good presentation on the interesting project using KOBO Collect. As you presented, KOBO Collect can reduce the workload for field clinical staff and foster the use of data by the regional HIS team to immediately respond to disease management. This reduces the cost of unnecessary paper-related tasks and, at the same time, improves health outcomes through quicker responses. In addition, it enhances data reporting and visualization for the regional team and other stakeholders by providing real-time updates on the disease situation in the field, which supports better decision-making for public health management.

ParticipantHi Hteik! Thank you for your presentation about KOBO. The VDO helped me better understand how the KOBO works, after previously reading peers’ mentions of it. I agree that this project improves field staff’s monitoring and response efficiency. It also enables faster communication between field staffs and regional teams or other stakeholders, supporting timely interventions and data-driven decisions that can enhance public health outcomes in your covered area.

SaranathKeymasterYou clearly explained the eHealth project used in your organization. Very interesting and I can see how this project would benefit health in the community. Your presentation covered the main context, including the three domains. For improvement, you can enhance visual aid by making slides that relevant to your talk. You slides are quite static, i.e. you showed the dashboard slide for quite a long time, while your talk was more than the dashboard visualization. You may make a slide that emphasize the three domains while you were talking about it.
