Watch your friend’s presentation and provide comments on “How could this project improve the current health practice? Think about value of the project in terms of cost, customer satisfaction, Improve outcomes.”
I Think, It’s is a good project for many organization depend on the good enterprise architecture of systems that are came form reduce cost and increase quality of treatment and satisfaction of patient and officer.
I like your last word. The future of health is in patients’ hands.
I’m surely that this project will improve the current health practices. As all of us know, the EMR in Thailand usually scattering and can not be connected online. If the patients can access their health information and current health status 24 hr. IT will help the physician to make the right diagnosis base on their underlying disease if they have an emergency visit to the new hospital. Things should be aware of is the legal issue and data breach.
Hi Khun Patcharapol…Your big idea is in the direction where health informatics is going to and I like it as I also would like my GP to make me more informed about my health. However, I have a question about the patient’s access. Does it only for patients to see their personal health data or will they be allowed to manage, make changes or add up more information/data about their own health? For your point of view as a doctor, will you value the data added up, managed by the patient for your decision? I think if the patient is allowed to take part in their health decision which is not only when a medical procedure is to be done and their consent is needed but also since their regular health data is obtained. Even the fact that medical data/info is quite technical and less patient is able to get to understand it well, they deserve the grant to access their health data as like your project’s objectives. The accessible will not only make health to be on the patient’s hand but also reduce the communication gap between patient and health care profession.
