I would love to mention consistency as an information quality indicator, and portability as part of the system quality indicator that would be brought after integration of the electronic information management system.
Consistency: This Tanzanian ILI sentinel surveillance system evaluation also observed that the data discrepancy was quite high at 23% compared to the target (<5%) due to errors during documentation at the sentinel sites. This kind of inconsistency can be reduced with the integration of electronic systems by using the same standardized protocols and systems between the different sites throughout the data collection, entry, specimen collection, transportation, diagnosis, result interpretation, analysis, and dissemination processes.
Portability: I think setting up the integrated electronic information management system also builds the system architecture and infrastructure that other surveillance systems or other organizations can use as part of the system expansion. This resource mobilization can make the system more effective and efficient for the organization and the nation as a whole.
