
Thanks for your comments and suggestions, Aj Nath and friends. Within the given circumstances, it’s a bit difficult to digitalize the whole reporting system fully. So, we will still be using the paper-based reporting system at every point of care in the health system. The good thing is that we can check the discrepancy of data between two reporting systems, and the bad thing is that we cannot avoid double data entry. That’s why the digitization process is facing more reluctance from users than anticipated.
The second thing I’d like to explain is the mobile application that community-level volunteers will use. This application is designed to enter data both online and offline. The system will recognize the time and place of data entry. When the ICMV returns to a village or a nearby town that has an internet connection, the data will be synchronized automatically. We aimed to monitor the data at the township level, where most of them have internet access.
