According to the World Health Organization (WHO), e-health is defined as ‘the use of information and communications technology in support of health and health-related fields’. I think it was already a well-defined definition. Decades ago, this definition might limited to computers to see lab results, electronic health records, or online consultations. These days, e-health encompasses a wider range of uses, from M-health, Telemedicine, clinical information systems, integrated networks, and big data.
