The definition of eHealth I’d like to propose is “the use of information and communication technologies to improve health and healthcare outcomes, efficiency, and effectiveness. It encompasses a wide range of applications, including electronic health records, telemedicine, mobile health (mHealth), health information systems, wearable devices, health apps, and online health resources. eHealth aims to empower patients, healthcare providers, and healthcare organizations by facilitating access to health information, supporting remote consultations, enabling real-time monitoring, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and ultimately contributing to more efficient, patient-centered, and evidence-based healthcare.”
