Hi Khun Fond, I think this is an another interesting type of cyberattack and thanks for sharing. Yes, it’s a bit complicated for me as well for non IT staff . For this kind of attack it makes me think why the attackers wanted to do this. To make net work latency and down can cause huge damage for online business like disrupt online services and causes the competitor’s financial loss and sometime when the network is disrupt, attackers could find the vulnerabilities inside the business which can cause also data breaches. Due to this DDos attack was the largest attack, they might have already involved the law enforcement and prosecuted the attackers. If not yet, I think apart from launching the DDos mitigation service in the business, the authorities should have strong legal as well, it can be another way to warn and prevent another attackers to not doing this cybercrime again in the future.
