As the attack is caused by SQL injection, I would suggest “Web Application Firewalls (WAF)” as a preventive measure. The WAF can be used to filter and monitor incoming traffic to applications, which can detect and block common attack patterns, including SQL injection attempts. Furthermore, WAF can protect against unauthorized access as well as cross-site request forgery attacks.
